We're excited to announce our latest release, packed with new features and enhancements to optimize your workflow and boost productivity. This release brings a mix of improvements across multiple areas, from request handling to new marketplace integrations, making it easier for you to manage your processes effectively. Read on for all the details ⬇️⬇️⬇️

📋 Multi-Stage Line Item Usage Panel

A new advisory panel is now available to suggest multi-stage line item usage:

  • Where to Find It: This panel will appear on the “Review & send” tab for requests and the “Request & exit” tab for templates.

  • When It Appears: It will only be visible when line items are used in a request, but multi-stage responses have not been enabled.

  • What It Does: The panel encourages users to enable multi-stage items and provides a link to our Knowledge Base for guidance on how to use this feature.

  • Advisory Only: This panel won’t block you from sending a request or saving a template; it’s purely advisory to enhance your decision-making.

🔔 Marketplace Integration: Slack Notifications

Stay informed with our new Slack integration:

  • Real-Time Updates: Receive DeepStream notifications directly in your company’s Slack workspace, allowing for faster response times and improved collaboration.

  • Easy Setup: Super users can configure this integration via the “Integration marketplace” page, selecting a Slack channel for notifications.

  • Focused Alerts: For now, only critical notifications requiring immediate action will be pushed to Slack.

👀 Improvements to the Line Items Comparison View

Enhancements to make data comparison more intuitive and accessible:

  • Clear Indications: Fields not used in a section will now show “N/A” by default, making it clear they are not applicable.

  • Visible Status Icons: Exchange status and comments icons are now on the left-hand side of supplier response cells to maintain visibility.

  • Customizable Views: All line item fields (except “Description”) can be hidden as needed, but all will be visible by default for comprehensive overviews.

💀 Automatic Questionnaire Expiry

Set automatic expiry dates for better control over your questionnaires:

  • Flexible Timeframes: Buyers can specify expiry durations in days, months, or years after approval.

  • Status Updates: On the expiry date, questionnaires will move to an “expired” status, pausing all notifications.

  • Re-engagement: Buyers have the option to re-open expired questionnaires if needed to re-engage with suppliers.

🦴 Manual Questionnaire Expiry

Manually manage the expiry of individual questionnaires:

  • On-Demand Expiry: Buyers can manually mark questionnaires as expired for specific cases, mimicking the automatic expiry functionality.

  • Conditional Availability: This option is only available for questionnaires that have been approved.

🐞 Bug Fixes and Small Improvements

We've made several minor fixes and enhancements to improve the overall user experience:

  • Requests: Adjusted Intercom support icon placement to prevent clashes with popups.

  • Requests: Corrected total cost calculation to account for the latest multi-stage response submissions.

  • Contracts: Introduced search functionality in the contracts hub.

  • Contracts: Separated draft and sent contracts for easier navigation.

  • Pre-qualification: Added an expiry filter to help manage supplier lists in pre-qualification panels.

These updates are designed to make your experience with DeepStream even more seamless, enhancing both the functionality and usability of our platform. Enjoy the new features, and as always, we look forward to your feedback!
