This article is intended for suppliers. If you’re a buyer check out our help articles here.

We have some exciting updates going live in the coming weeks to improve your experience when submitting your bid – find out more about these changes below.

This article covers:

Request overview changes

Navigational changes

One of the first things to note is the way you now navigate in a received request. We have removed the tabbed structured to a clear concise menu:

Current Tabbed Menu

New Condensed Menu

When navigating to individual sections of the request you will now see a breadcrumb tiered structure appear at the top of the page. You can navigate back using these links (and you can still move back via the browser buttons as usual):

Request Statuses

You can now see more detail for the overall status of the request on the request overview page. This includes:

  • Request status: This will show as either Live, Pending or Ended

  • Bid status: This will show as either No response, Bidding or Declines to bid

  • Bid outcome: This will show as either Pending, Awarded, Unsuccessful or Partially Awarded (depending on the Award scenario the buyer has chosen)

*New* Award Scenarios

Based on the structure of the Request, you will now see the method the buyer has selected for the award stage. The scenarios are as follows:

  • Request-level award: The entire request is awarded to an individual supplier

  • Lot-level award: Each lot is awarded to an individual supplier

  • Line-level award: Each line item is awarded to an individual supplier

  • No award: No supplier awarded. This could apply to the entire request, or individual lots and line items

‘My Bid’ changes

Stage Statuses

You can now see more detail for each stage of the request at the ‘My bid’ level. This includes:

  • Stage status: This will either be set as Live and Deadlines Passed

  • Deadline: This will show the stage deadline including the date, time and time zone

  • Time to deadline: This will show the amount of days and hours left until the deadline (this clock colour will change as the deadline gets closer)

  • Requirements completion: A percentage calculated on how much many requirements you have completed so far

This enables you to better manage workloads based on individual stage requirements and deadlines.

Submitting your bid

The ‘My Bid’ section of the request has now been divided more clearly into each individual stage so you can focus on completing requirements for one stage at a time:

New way to submit your bid

✏️ Please Note: Auto-advancing now happens for the specific stage you are in – you can no longer move across in this way to other stages.

Stage level detail

Once in the stage itself the status detail is carried over showing:

  • Timeline: This will show the date and time the buyer moved you into the stage, what the deadline for the stage is and the time remaining indicated by a colour coded timeline bar

  • Stage status: This will either be set as Live and Deadlines Passed

  • Stage completion: A percentage calculated on how much many requirements you have completed so far

  • Requirement indicators: At the top of the requirements section, it will show you how many are in this stage broken down by ‘Action required’ and ‘Information only’

*Coming Soon* Lot bidding

We're also busy working on Lot bidding functionality – stayed tuned for more detail on that soon!
