This article is intended for buyers. If you're a supplier, check out our supplier help articles here.

This article covers:

What is the Reporting Dashboard?

Your reporting dashboard offers thorough insights and analysis on your requests and contracts, covering budget, value, savings, team productivity, supplier engagement, auctions, contract volume, and contract value. It enables you to make informed financial decisions using the key metrics and spending data provided.

Reporting for Requests

The Requests tab within the Reporting dashboard has two side panels on the left hand side. The first one is titled "Spend and Savings" where the Budget; Value and Savings sections can be located. In the second panel titled "Other", users can find reporting on Team productivity; Supplier engagement; and Auctions.

Spend and Savings Panel

There are three sections in the Spend and Savings panel: Budget; Value and Savings. Each of the three sections has the same configuration controls that are shown at the top-right of the page allowing some of the page content to be configured according to the shown values.

  1. Data shown: Super users can choose between seeing Data shown for All Requests or Requests they own. Full users can only see Requests they own (this will be the only option available).

  2. Count date: This decides the date/time when a given value is counted. Choose between Request created, Request awarded and Final deadline.

  3. Interval: This dictates the time interval for any component which counts a value over time. Choose between Day, Week, Month, Quarter or Year.

  4. Currency: Select your chosen currency from the dropdown menu. The default setting is USD.

Once you have set your chosen configuration controls, you can begin interacting with your reporting dashboard.

Important: There are lots of tool tips on the platform to explain how each graph is calculated.

Circular Charts

For the circular reporting charts, hover over a specific segment of the chart to interact with it. That segment will be highlighted and the value shown in the middle of the chart will relate to that segment only.

Standard Pie Chart

Similar to the circular charts, standard pie charts are also interactive when a specific segment is hovered over. However, as opposed to a specific value being shown in the middle, a tool tip will appear to the right of the chart with more information.

Scatter Chart

For the scatter chart, the y-axis limits are determined by the max/min values shown and the x-axis intervals are determined by your Interval configuration selection. Hovering over a point will highlight it and a tooltip will appear with more detail and containing an Open Request button. Click to open the request on the spend page.

✏️ Please Note: Clicking on the point itself will also open the request on the spend page.

Grid Panel

The grid panel allows you to see all requests in one table (except deleted requests). They show the Request name, Request status, Budget status, and Budget.

Other Panel

Team productivity

The Team productivity section provides an overview of each team member, how many requests they've been awarded, how many requests they've closed and their average request completion rate as a percentage. You can also see revisions per request (avg.) as a company, and request duration (avg.) as a company. The final section is Total requests by product or service which shows a pie chart with one segment for each product or service as shown below.

Supplier engagement

At the top of the supplier engagement section is a grid table that provides an overview of Supplier name, Requests received, Requests awarded, Request response rate, and Request completion rate for each Supplier. Below the grid table is a circular chart detailing the request completion rate of all requests sent to suppliers. For the bar graph chart, the y-axis limits are determined by the supplier completion rate percentage and the x-axis intervals are determined by request duration in days. Hovering over a bar will highlight it and a tooltip will appear with more detail.

Auctions

The auctions page gives a quick snapshot of negotiated auction savings. You can see:

  • Lowest initial bid (request or auction)

  • Lowest final bid (auction)

  • Total Estimated savings

  • Duration (average minutes)

  • Total mids (average)

  • Extensions per auction (average)

  • Suppliers per auction (average)

Using the currency drop down in the top right hand corner you can change the information to show in your preferred currency. It will be set to USD as a default.

Reporting for Contracts

The Contracts Tab within the reporting dashboard contains all your data and analytics for contracts. Using the currency drop down in the top right hand corner you can change the information to show in your preferred currency. It will be set to USD as a default.

The contracts tab provides reporting on:

  • Contract volume

  • Contract value

  • Team productivity (by clicking the toggle this will show either volume or value)

  • Counterparty (by clicking the toggle this will show either volume or value)

  • Expiring contracts
