Release 194

💱 Custom exchange rates for requests

  • Buyers can now set their own exchange rates on a request.

  • Add the currencies suppliers can bid in on the Summary tab. Each one pre-fills with the previous day's market rate and can be edited until the request is issued.

  • All calculations on the request use these rates: bid comparison, formulas, savings and award totals. Suppliers can see the rates too.

  • Rates are locked once the request is issued, so everyone works from the same numbers. New currencies can still be added in a revision.

  • Templates carry their own rates, which copy to every request created from them.

  • Existing requests keep the rates they were already using, so nothing changes on current numbers.

🤝 Private network improvements

  • Buyers can now add users to a supplier's request team at any point, even after the supplier has responded, declined or withdrawn.

  • Inviting someone who already has a DeepStream account to a private-network supplier company now adds them straight away, with no approval step. The first user of a company joins as Super User, later users as Full User, and buyers can change roles from the supplier profile.

  • Network owners can now edit their own company profile inside their private network. It is independent of their profile on the shared network, so changes to one no longer affect the other.

📁 Documents comparison available to everyone

  • The Documents view on the Comparison tab no longer needs to be switched on per company. It is now available to everyone who can see the Comparison screen.

🤖 AI bid comparison

  • Excel files with unusual formatting (for example empty merged cells) are now read correctly instead of being left out of the comparison. If a file genuinely cannot be read, such as a password-protected workbook, the warning now explains why in plain words.

⚡️ Performance

  • The suppliers page of large requests now loads faster.

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Fix to ensure buyers can upload a logo or banner for a supplier in their private network.

  • Fix for company logos showing a placeholder on the shared network browse tab.

  • Fix for a blank page when a team member without evaluation access opens a supplier's evaluation. They now see the standard "You can't access this page" message.

  • Fix to ensure the supplier Excel response file opens correctly when a formula refers to the same field more than once.

  • Fix for Edit buttons on the email notification settings opening the setting for the wrong row.

  • Fix for requests still counting a user as an approver when a draft approval step carried over from a template was never actually requested.
