Collaborating on Requests in DeepStream as a Supplier: Adding and Managing Team Members

If you, as a Supplier, are directly invited to a Request by a Buyer, you become the Owner of that Request, along with other originally invited colleagues. As an Owner, you can invite additional colleagues to collaborate on the Request.

1. Adding users to DeepStream

Before colleagues can be added to any Request, they must first be invited to join the platform.

✏️ Important to note: Only Super users can add users to DeepStream.

To add a new user to DeepStream:

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the screen and click the dropdown arrow.

  2. Select “Manage team” from the menu.

  3. Click the “+ Add user” button.

  4. Enter the email address of the colleague.

  5. Assign the appropriate user role (Super user, Full user, or Authorised stakeholder).

  6. Click “Add user”.

Once submitted, the invited colleague will receive an email with a link to sign up and access the platform.

2. Inviting existing users to a Request

Once colleagues have been added to DeepStream, Request owners can invite them to collaborate on specific Requests.

To invite a user to a Request:

  1. Open the relevant Request.

  2. Under the Menu, click on “Team”.

  3. On the right-hand side, click “+ Add user”.

  4. Choose the colleague from the dropdown list of existing users.

  5. Assign the appropriate Role and relevant Permission.

  6. Click “Save changes”.

3. Changing a Team member to an Owner

In case you wish to add Owner rights to a Team member of a Request, follow these steps:

  1. Open the relevant Request.

  2. Under the Menu, click on “Team”.

  3. Hover your mouse over to the name of the contact whose role you wish to change and click ‘Edit’ on the right side of the field.

  4. In the “Role” dropdown select “Owner”.

  5. Click “Save changes”.
