Flow to enable multi-stage line items for requests, revisions, and templates

  • When on the “Review & Send” page for a request, revision, or template which uses line items but where multi-stage line item responses are not enabled, a banner with button can be clicking on to launch the new flow.

  • A step-by-step flow is provided to guide users through the process of enabling multi-stage line items, which will allow them to request improved offers at later stages to gain more competitive pricing and increase savings.

    • Review and adjust stages - to ensure at least 2 stages are added which suppliers have not moved into

    • Selected which line items sections should be enabled for multi-stage responses

    • For each section, enable multi-stage responses and configure which fields suppliers must submit new responses for

    • Optionally, add more line items sections or removed unneeded ones.

    • Review changes before exiting the process and returning to edit the request.

  • Once the flow is complete, the request or template will be enabled for multi-stage line item responses and can be finalised and issued or saved for future use.

Support for reordering of line item section fields

  • Line item section fields can now have a custom order and can be reordered using “Move left” and “Move right” controls on the field context menus.

  • Newly-added fields will always be added to the right of all existing fields, though can be added between existing fields by using the “Add field to left” or “Add field to right” option in the field action menu.

  • Existing requests, contracts, and templates will retain their current order but can be reordered on editing or revision.

  • Custom field ordering will be respected wherever ordered fields appear in the app on both the buyer and supplier side.

  • Views in which fields are grouped (buyer vs supplier) will continue to be grouped but the custom field order will be respected within each group.

🔍 Search added to integration supplier map

  • Note: only applies to companies with an active integration which uses a supplier map.

  • You can now the search the supplier map on the company settings page via a new field in the header to more easily find a supplier in the map.

  • Enter an external supplier name or ID to filter the table by your search term.

🐛 Bug fixes and small improvements

  • Fix for an issue which could cause the supplier map button to be incorrectly hidden even when a company does have an integration which uses it.

  • Fix for an issue which could cause an error to be shown on public request pages.

  • Fix for an issue which could cause “N/A” text to not be localised correctly within a comparison view report.
