This article is intended for buyers.

If you’re a supplier check out our supplier help articles here.

This article aims to explain what the Comparison tab is and how to use it.

This article will cover:

- What is the Comparison tab -

The Comparison tab comes into existence once a Request has been pushed live that contains

  • Evaluation module

  • Questions Section

  • Line Items Section.

From the Comparison tab you can view supplier submissions for line items or questions, and/or your scoring for supplier evaluation in a side-by-side comparison view.

You can also download a csv. file of these comparison tables provided you are a Request Owner.

- How do you use the Comparison tab -

In draft or in a revision state Request add an Evaluation module, Questions Section or Line Items Section to your Request.

Once the Request is live and suppliers have started to respond, or you have started scoring your Suppliers using the Evaluation module, open the relevant Request and select the Comparison tab.

On the left hand side you will have the ability to switch between Evaluation module, Questions and Line Items Sections depending on which you have included in your Request. Select the option you would like to view.

To change the view, use the options on the right hand-side of the screen: row height and expand view.

Row height: change the height of each row in the comparison table in order to get the best view to compare all answers submitted.

Expand view: use this view so that you only see the comparison table on your screen to get the best overview. Select shrink view in the top right corner of the page to exit this view.

To view individual answers in more detail, click on the box , then click the arrows that appear in the top right hand corner to open exchange.

By opening the exchange you can respond directly to Supplier's responses (or comments left by team members on the Evaluation module).

To download the csv. file, select the download csv. button, and you can then import the file into excel or google sheets etc.

✏️ Note: Only the Request Owner(s) will be able to download the csv. reports for each comparison view
