This article is intended for buyers.
If you’re a supplier check out our supplier help articles here.
This article aims to help readers understand how to get set up before you send your first Request.
This article will cover:
- How to create a new user account -
You and every other user on the platform have their own user account. This is a personal profile that is linked to your company profile.
If you have received an email to join the platform, click on the link in the email. If you cannot find your email invitation you can just go to the DeepStream homepage and click the sign up button in the top right hand corner. Alternatively click here to create your account.
You will then need to fill out the fields with your details, and agree to our Terms of Service.
After this you will then be taken to a confirmation page, where you will be asked to verify your account. A verification email will be sent to the email address registered to your user account. Click on the link in the email to verify your email address.
The email will come from: support@deepstreamtech.com. If you do not receive a verification email, check alternate inboxes (e.g Junk, Spam folders and ensure your company's filtering system isn’t blocking it), or click send it again on the confirmation page.
Once you have verified your account you will be directed to a success page. This is confirmation that your User account has been set up, and you can then proceed to log into the platform.
Once you’ve created your user account there’s two possible scenarios.
The first scenario is that your company is already registered on the platform. If this is the case then you don’t need to do anything else - regardless of whether you signed up via an email link or by yourself, our system will match your email address to your company’s account. You can skip to start inviting other team members, inviting new suppliers or building your first Request.
If your company isn’t yet registered on the platform you will need to create a new company profile. When you create a new company profile, you will be asked to fill in basic information about your company.
Once your company profile is created you will automatically join the DeepStream Network.
- How to create a company profile -
To get started creating a new company profile, select create your company, and decide whether you want to be a buyer or a supplier (or both!). Once you’ve done that click continue to register your company on the Network.
Next you need to fill out the information fields;
Company information,
Registered information,
Your personal information,
Profile picture for your company.
Once this is completed, check the box confirming you are authorised to use DeepStream on your company's behalf, then click continue. After this you will then be asked to build your profile which involves:
Adding a company description that other companies on the Network can see.
Choosing the Products & Services Tags that most accurately describe your company's capabilities.
⚡ Top Tip : We recommend that you add your Product & Services Tags so other companies will be able to find you through these and invite you to bid on their Requests
Once completed, you’ll be able to come back at any time to edit your profile.
- How to invite team members to work with you -
If you want to work with multiple team members (Or other departments) you’ll need to invite team members to the platform.
✏️ Note: You need to be an administrator to invite new Team Members. Administrators are Full User team members with manage users permissions at a company level. There’s no limit to how many administrators you profile can have but this may affect your billing.

- How to invite suppliers to DeepStream -
Any supplier you want to work with you on a Request managed through DeepStream will need to be invited to sign up to the platform. Any person with a Full User profile can invite suppliers to join DeepStream.
In order to invite a supplier to join DeepStream, you will need at least one email contact from a company and their company name.
To get started inviting new suppliers, log into DeepStream and select the Network link in the Navigation bar at the top of your screen; this will take you to the Network page.
On the right of the Search bar, Click send an invite, this will prompt a pop up window which will ask you to enter the supplier you wish to invite’s:
Email address
First name
Last name.
Next you will be asked to assign each invitee to a company. Type in the company search field the name of the company. If they’re already signed up to the platform it will appear in the drop down menu and if it doesn’t you can just add the new company by clicking create new company at the bottom of the drop down menu. They will create their new company profile when they sign up.
You can invite as many suppliers as you want at once following the above process.
Once you have added all the suppliers you would like to invite, click continue.
You will now need to enter the message that you would like to be sent to the supplier in the invitation. If you do not want to personalise this message, you can just click continue and a stock message will be sent.
You can then review how many invitations you will be sending, how many new companies you will be inviting to DeepStream, and how many companies you will be adding to your Network… and then send!
⚡ Top Tip: We recommend that you send a pre-warning email to suppliers you’re newly adding to the platform. Check out our introductory email for inspiration to make sure you include all the necessary information.
